Incredibly, the granite that supports the Statue of Liberty, the foundation of our country, is still accessible to us because of Stony Creek Quarry Corporation and its on-going operations. Reserves of Stony Creek Granite are estimated to be large enough to last for over 100 years at current production levels. Our stone has become iconic and historically significant because it is used in so many of our nation’s fountains, landmarks, and memorials.
